At this year's Involvement Fair, College Ave was once again swarmed by incoming and returning students looking for ways to spice up their campus lives. Our DJs braved the heat and the rain, to share our love for The Core with everyone who stopped by!
The more voices the merrier! We look forward to meeting new students each year, and we hope to see you at our General Interest Meeting: Monday, September 11th, at 9:00pm in the Cook Student Center, Room 202. Meet the executive staff and current DJs and learn what it's like to train as a DJ and the many ways to get involved at the station.
From 3:00-6:00pm on Monday, students were able to talk to current DJs and staff in addition to grabbing some free stickers, CDs, and more! I'm always excited to table at the Involvement Fair, because nothing breaks the ice or brings a community together like talking about a shared love of radio.
College Radio is a long and storied tradition. At larger universities and afterward, people like to say "you have to find your people and make your own fun." For me, and many other DJs, those are essentially the same thing, and they're found at 90.3 The Core. ;)
